About
Hi! I'm Hiro Mejia. Nice to meet you!
I’m a Product Designer, based in Tokyo, Japan, who has a desire to create human-centric designs, and a passion for communication. I believe that great design understands humans very well; it starts, ends, and revolves around humans.
I grew up in a multi-cultural family and moved around a couple of countries experiencing varying cultures. This experience has helped me gain deep regards about diversity, community, and empathizing with different kinds of people.
My career so far...
My background includes a degree in Computer Science, experience as a QA Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Service Designer, and Product Designer.
From these experiences, I have been trained to explore and look at problems from different perspectives, and to consider collaboration as a crucial factor of any problem-solving exercise, while respecting each person’s expertise.
